Loyola High School’s motto is “forming men for and with others.” At the core of the Ignatian vision is faith in the Risen Lord Jesus, the uniquely Christian spirit of loving service to one’s God and neighbor, a service which does not count the cost or reward but is done in true charity. This is taken from the mission of Michael Enrigh’s alma mater and are words he lives by daily. Michael has dedicated his life to his family, and to the quiet sharing of his gift of goodness and justice for all. Michael receives the Cardinal’s Award because of his indefatigable three-decade service as a trustee for Mount St. Mary’s College, the expertise and financial wisdom he’s shared with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles as a member of the Finance Council, for his depth of work for the continued success of Catholic education, and for being a man for others. Mike and his wife Kathy reside in Fremont Place and are members of St. Brendan parish. Each have five children and they share the joy of seventeen grandchildren.
