The Association of Catholic Student Councils is a leadership-based initiative that brings high school and middle school students to workshops on service-leadership, diversity, finding your strengths, conflict management and problem solving – these lessons are prepared and presented by over 150 local high school leaders from 17 top high schools. The student leadership day program gives host Catholic high schools the opportunity to share their campus and students while TACSC can showcase their program. TACSC high school is a core leadership team of talented and passionate high school leaders who come together monthly to develop their own leadership skills. At the end of their training they put their skills to work as mentors to the middle school track. A “pay it forward in leadership.” Heidi Johnson is TACSC’s executive director.
